My name is Romello Rodriguez and I am a NYC based actor, singer, dancer. 

 

I am originally from New York City but also partly grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and in Fort Worth, Texas.  In middle school I made the decision to come back to New York and pursue my goal of being an artist.  Upon returning to New York, I sought out every opportunity I could to perform and grow as an artist. I joined TADA! Youth Theater's Resident Youth Ensemble where I took classes and performed from age 11-18, and attended Frank Sinatra School of the Arts for high school. In the Fall of 2015 I began pursuing a B.A. in Theatre Performance with a Minor in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College. It was in college that I found an appreciation for activism and advocating for underserved or underrepresented communities. I love individuals sharing their unique identities with one another in spaces that are open and celebratory of those differences. 

 

When I'm not performing I am probably watching RuPaul's Drag Race, POSE on FX, or creating choreography for fun in my heels.
